Girl Scouts of Nassau County
Company Overview
We’re the Girl Scouts of Nassau County: We’re 23, 000 strong – 23, 000 girls and adults who believe every girl from Nassau County can change the world. It began over 100 years ago with one woman, Juliette Gordon “Daisy” Low, who believed in the power of every girl. Today, we continue her vision of building girls of courage, confidence, and character who make the world a better place by helping them discover their inner strength, passion and talents. And with programs in Nassau County, across Long Island and throughout the United States, there’s a chance for every girl to do something amazing. We’re the Girl Scouts.
Camp Blue Bay located on Long Island in East Hampton, New York, has been owned and operated by Girl Scouts of Nassau County (GSNC) as a summer camp since 1947. With its spacious 179 acres, beautiful beachfront on Gardiner’s Bay and scenic trails, Camp Blue Bay offers girls a variety of experiences.
Our enthusiastic and well trained staff provides a supportive environment, where girls have an opportunity to grow. Girls who participate in summer camp are offered leadership opportunities and get a sense of community, while enjoying the great outdoors.
