Founded in 1927, Sheridan School is a progressive K-8 school with up to 230 students, a vibrant, engaged community, and a strong commitment to equity, diversity, inclusion, and belonging. We are dedicated to advancing our practice of progressive education and delivering a rich curriculum that prepares our students to know, challenge, and achieve. We provide a learning culture that is curious, thoughtful, joyful, and just, and our professional culture is steeped in collaboration, respect, and eagerness to embrace new experiences and ideas. In addition to our main DC campus, we also have a Mountain Campus in the Shenandoah Valley where our Outdoor and Experiential Education programs come to life for students.
