Overview:

• In-person
• Per Diem
• Nassau County
• Flexible Schedule

Responsibilities:

• Manage the care of students with chronic health conditions, Special Education Students, Autism
• (e.g., asthma, diabetes) by coordinating with healthcare providers, teachers, and parents.
• Provide first aid and emergency care for injuries or sudden illnesses
• Implement emergency response plans and drills.
• Maintain accurate and confidential health records
• Communicate with parents regarding their child's health status, concerns, and recommended follow-up care if needed
• Potential need to frequently bend, crouch, and lift (up to 40 pounds)

Qualifications:

• NY state RN license
• School Nurse Experience Required
• CPR/BLS certification
